Oil paintings 1970-2015

Jan was inspired by Nordic masters like Axel Gallen-Kallela, Albert Edelfeldt and Helene Schjerfbeck and he had a special permission to copy Schjerfbeck's paintings in Helsinki in Ateneum. He loved painting nature, especially stones and landscapes from his childhood in Norsjö. His own paintings are his own imagination and he painted without models. He  painted about 150 paintings .
